Boatze

Waze for the water · boats & jet skis

Know what's out there before you get there.

Boaters share what they see: patrol boats, sandbars, no-wake zones, debris, manatees, fish biting. Boatze warns you by voice as you get close, and routes you through the channels instead of over the shoals.

What boaters report

Seventeen kinds of reports, each with its own clock

A patrol boat moves. A sandbar doesn't. Every report on Boatze lives as long as that kind of thing usually lasts, then fades from the map on its own.

Wildlife & fishing

Other boaters confirm or dismiss what they see. Each confirmation keeps a patrol report up another hour and other reports another day.

Features

Built for the helm, not the dock

Big targets, voice alerts and short trips through menus, because one hand is on the throttle.

Alerts

Patrol zones you can actually see

A patrol report isn't a dot. Boatze draws where that boat can see, cutting the zone off behind land and islands, and talks to you as you approach.

"Police ahead." → "Slow down. Police can see you."

Alerts

Slow zones that speak up

No-wake zones, manatees, sea turtles and accidents become speed zones. If you're over speed inside one, your phone says so and vibrates.

Routes

Routes that stay on the water

Pick a destination and Boatze plans the run through dredged channels and inlets, away from shallows and the shoreline, with an arrival time. It never draws a straight line across land.

Conditions

Wind, tides and the forecast

Marine forecast, wind, tides and currents from NOAA stations, nearby buoys and weather radar, all for the water you're on.

Places

Marinas, fuel and dock-and-dine

Find marinas, fuel docks, waterfront restaurants with docks, boat ramps, bait and tackle, and rentals. Boaters post fuel dock prices for gas, rec 90 and diesel.

Spots worth the trip

Sandbars, islands, anchorages, snorkel and fishing spots shared by other boaters, with photos and directions by water.

Settings

Hear only what you want

Choose which report types alert you and how: voice, vibration, or just the map.

Community

See where boaters are

An activity map shows the busy water this weekend. It's anonymous: positions are rounded to about 250 meters and an area only shows once two or more people have been there.

How it works

Two taps to warn everyone behind you

See it, report it

Tap Report, pick what you saw. Boatze drops it where you are, or where you tap on the map.

Boaters keep it honest

Others passing by confirm it or mark it gone. Good reports stay up longer; stale ones disappear.

Everyone gets the heads-up

Boaters heading that way hear about it before they're in it, by voice, with the map open.

Boatze helps you stay aware. It doesn't drive the boat.

Reports come from other boaters and can be wrong or out of date. Boatze is not an official nautical chart and doesn't replace a proper lookout, local knowledge, or the rules of the road. Always follow posted speed and no-wake limits, whether or not anyone reported a patrol.
